Miavana by Time + Tide offers an escape to a remote island sanctuary in the Indian Ocean, located at the ends of the Earth; somewhere between paradise, a fairytale, and a dream. Taking 6 years to develop, with the idea of long term sustainability of conservation through tourism, Miavana is built on a virgin private island. The resort caters for the modern-day explorer; guests looking for an adventure playground where our experts will recommend water and land activities, wildlife experiences, helicopter adventures, underpinned by the uniqueness of Madagascar. It is quite reasonable to be planning magical dives on un-explored reefs, fishing trips from the beach, from other Islands or from boat, wakeboard and waterski at sunrise, kitesurf safaris and adventure caving through the mountains with helicopters in pursuit.

Getting There
Time + Tide have been given special dispensation from the Madagascan authorities for private to jets to land in either Diego Suarez, or Nosy Be – for ALL nationalities.
Miavana is only reachable by helicopter from either Nosy Be or Diego Suarez. We highly recommend that arrival is rather via Diego Suarez as here we are able to offer a white glove experience from the minute guests land.
- Nosy Be: 60 mins transfer time
- Diego Suarez: 30 mins transfer time
Luggage limitations: 20kg soft sided checked luggage + 5kg hand luggage per person
Helicopters can only fly during daylight hours
These helicopter transfers are included for FREE with a minimum 5 night stay
