Description
Situated only 15 minutes off the coast of Placencia, Belize sits a rare coral island of incomparable beauty, its white sands sloping gently into the Caribbean Sea. Kanu's 2.5 acres ensures privacy with five 1,000-square-foot villas, each containing a breezily chic master bedroom suite, high bamboo ceilings, huge resort bathrooms with outdoor showers, high end finish out and custom local furniture. Some villas also have large soaking tubs and one has a loft for kids.
At the center of the island is the huge palm thatched central area that contains the living room, dinning room, large bar and kitchen flanked by the large in-ground fresh water swimming pool complete with swim up bar. The soothing design palette incorporates coral stone and amazing rose wood flooring, complemented with accent shades of the sea and sun.

Getting There
Located in the tropical heart of Central America - - Belize is just a short flight from many U.S. cities. Guests only have to get to Belize city and we take care of the rest. Boat transfers to the island are included in the all inclusive rate and for a limited time we are also including the local flights in the all inclusive rate. Our reservations team will work with you to arrange your short transport from Belize City International Airport to Placencia. When arriving in Placencia, staff will pick you up at the airstrip and take you to the kanu boat to be transported to the island.
